Health Armor Mods
Health Armor Mods are special crafting components used by Armorsmiths in SWG Evolve to increase the maximum Health provided by armor.
Unlike traditional attachments or Reverse Engineered modifiers, these
Items are used during the armor crafting process and are baked directly into armor pieces through the use of armor segments and armor cores.
Health Mod components are primarily obtained from the Return to Kashyyyk heroic
Instances.
Overview
Health Armor Mods provide a fixed Health bonus that becomes part of the armor during crafting.
These bonuses are created through the armor core crafting process used by Armorsmiths.
- Each Health Mod component provides +150 Health
- Three modified armor segments are required to produce an armor core
- Each armor core provides +450 Health
- Each armor piece crafted with a core receives a +450 Health bonus
This system allows players to significantly increase survivability through crafted armor.
Armor Core System
Armorsmiths create Health-modified armor by crafting armor segments that include Health Mod components.
Each armor segment crafted with one of these components provides:
+150 Health
Three of these segments are then combined to produce a single armor core.
Example:
- Armor Segment 1: +150 Health
- Armor Segment 2: +150 Health
- Armor Segment 3: +150 Health
When these three segments are combined into an armor core, the resulting core provides:
+450 Health
When the armor core is used during armor crafting, the finished armor piece receives a
+450 Health bonus.
Armor Pieces Using Armor Cores
In SWG Evolve, the following armor pieces utilize armor cores and can receive Health Armor Mods during crafting:
- Helmet
- Chest
- Leggings
- Right Bicep
- Right Bracer
- Left Bicep
- Left Bracer
Each armor piece crafted with a Health-modified core receives:
+450 Health
If all seven armor pieces are crafted using Health-modified cores, the total Health bonus provided by the armor set is:
+3150 Health
- 7 armor pieces
- +450 Health per piece
Health Mod Components
Several creature components can be used to produce Health-modified armor segments.
These
Items are typically looted from high-end PvE content and are used by Armorsmiths during the armor crafting process.
Rancor Hide
- Attribute Mod: +150 Health
- Used to craft Assault Armor Segments
Dragonet Hide
- Attribute Mod: +150 Health
- Used to craft Recon Armor Segments
Krayt Dragon Scale
- Attribute Mod: +150 Health
- Used to craft Battle Armor Segments
Where to Obtain Health Mod Components
Health Mod components drop from the
Return to Kashyyyk Instances introduced in SWG Evolve.
These include:
- Heroic: Undead Bunker (8 Players)
- Heroic: Avatar Platform (16 Players)
- Hracca Glade (2 Players)
These encounters reward players with creature components that Armorsmiths can use to enhance armor crafting.
Crafting Workflow
Typical crafting flow for Health-modified armor:
- Acquire a Health Mod creature component
- Use the component when crafting armor segments
- Craft three armor segments with +150 Health each
- Combine the three segments to produce an armor core
- Use the armor core when crafting the final armor piece
The Health bonus becomes permanently embedded in the finished armor.
Notes
- Health Mods are applied during the crafting process
- The bonus cannot be removed once the armor is crafted
- Armorsmiths are required to craft armor segments and cores using these components
