Combat Professions

Players focusing on combat, they must first spec into either brawler or marksman and master one weapon specific profession in order to unlock and gain access to utility Professions. Players cannot spec into both Teras Kasi and Commando at the same time.

Combat Skill Sets​

Marksman​

Marksman is the prerequisite expertise tree to unlock ranged weapon specific profession trees, also granting the Assault and Stun Grenade abilities.

Pistoleer​

Focusing on increased range, chance to proc double auto-attacks, and Pistol Whip.

Associated 5pc set - Dead Eye

Carbineer​

Focusing on passive DOT application, the Assault skill line, as well as action management through Relentless Onslaught.

Associated 5pc set - Enforcer

Rifleman​

Focusing strikethrough chance, flat armor negation, Sniper Shot, and the Ambush line of attacks.

Associated 5pc set - Flawless

Grenadier​

Focusing on area of effect attacks with grenades, bombs, artillery, and Supreme Fire Power.

Associated 5pc sets - Hell Storm, Grenadier

Heavy Weapons​

Focusing on damage over time application (single target and area of effect), Beam Attacks, and armor negation.

Associated 5pc set - Juggernaut

Brawler​

The prerequisite expertise tree to unlock melee weapon specific profession trees.

Teras Kasi​

A unique combat profession that has two distinct themes - damage, and tanking. The damage side of the expertise tree focuses on critical hits, stuns, and debuffs. The tanking side of the expertise focuses on increased innate armor (the effects of which negate protections from armor), block, parry, damage to action, as well as a single target and area of effect taunt.

Fencer​

Focusing on one handed weapons, damage over time application, passive stun chance.

Swordsman​

Focusing on two handed weapons, strike through chance, armor negation, passive stun chance.
