Factions
In
Star Wars Galaxies, players can align with one of two factions in the Galactic Civil War: the
Galactic Empire or the
Rebel Alliance. Joining a faction allows players to participate in faction missions,
PvP combat, and planetary control efforts.
Players may also choose to remain
Neutral and avoid faction conflict.
Galactic Empire
The Galactic Empire enforces order across the galaxy through military strength and strict control.
Imperial players work to eliminate rebellion and maintain
Imperial dominance.

Rebel Alliance
The
Rebel Alliance is a resistance movement fighting to overthrow Imperial rule and restore freedom to the galaxy.
