Galactic Civil War (GCW) PvP Guide
The Galactic Civil War is the primary faction-based
PvP system in SWG Evolve.
Players fight for the
Rebel Alliance or the Galactic Empire in battles across the galaxy, earning rewards and factional recognition.
Joining the Galactic Civil War
Players may join either faction:
- Rebel Alliance
- Galactic Empire
Once enlisted, players can participate in factional combat and earn GCW points.
Special Forces Status
Players must be flagged as
Special Forces in order to participate in open
PvP combat.
Special Forces status allows:
- Attacking enemy faction players
- Participating in GCW combat events
- Earning GCW points
GCW Points
GCW points are earned through participation in factional activities.
Players can earn GCW points through:
- PvP combat
- Faction missions
- PvE faction events
- World PvP encounters
These points contribute toward faction progression and ranking.
GCW Leaderboards
Evolve tracks PvP activity through a dedicated GCW leaderboard.
Leaderboard features include:
