    Luck is a primary attribute stat that can guarantee certain rolls, most combat related and some lucky events that can happen when healing, crafting, fishing or selling junk for example.

    Increasing Luck


    You can increase luck via equipped items like Armor, Weapons, power-ups and Jewelry. Additionally, there are several Luck increasing buffs and expertise options based on your profession.


    Lucky Events


    Additionally, there are lucky events that can trigger throughout gameplay and roll "lucky events"

    Crafting AssemblyCrafters who catch a lucky break can benefit from a Critical Success during the Assembly phase of creating their item.
    Crafting ExperimentationDuring Experimentation, Traders can get a lucky break that will give their experiment a Critical Success.
    Combat and FactionDuring combat, anyone fighting has a chance to be lucky which will earn them bonus Faction Points.
    HealingAll healing actions (special abilities, healing others, stim-packs) have a chance to receive a lucky break that boosts effectiveness.
    Fencing (Selling)Selling goods to a Junk Dealer can trigger a lucky break that increases the item’s sell rate, making prices considerably higher.
    StealingSpies can steal an item without any chance of being caught. Note: cannot steal items or credits from players.
    Theft DetectionTargets of a spy’s theft can get lucky by automatically detecting the spy, unless the spy’s “free steal” succeeds.
    ExperiencePlayers can receive bonus XP rewards from lucky breaks while questing, crafting, or any activity that earns XP.
    FishingHigher luck increases catch rate and quality while fishing.
    ForagingHigher luck improves forage results.
