Smuggler Slicing

Chapter 6: Rise of the Mandalorians introduces a major expansion to the Smuggler profession with the addition of Armor Slicing and Weapon Slicing.

Master Smugglers can now enhance weapons and armor using new Slicing Tools and Slicing Bits obtained throughout Chapter 6 content.

Armor Slicing

Armor Slicing allows Master Smugglers to enhance armor pieces with new combat bonuses.

Available Armor Slice

• Punishing Blow Reduction +1 per armor piece

Weapon Slicing

Weapon Slicing allows Master Smugglers to apply specialized combat modifiers to weapons.

Available Weapon Slice Options

• Weapon Slicing Bit Offensive Parry Reduction
• Weapon Slicing Bit Offensive Dodge Reduction
• Weapon Slicing Bit Offensive Evasion Reduction

Slicing Mechanics

Once a weapon or armor piece has been sliced, it gains special decay mechanics tied to player death.

• Sliced weapons and armor decay by 5% upon player death
• Items no longer decay once they reach 1 condition point
• When an item reaches 1 condition point it will automatically unequip
• Items must be repaired before they can be equipped again

Slicing Requirements

• Requires Master Smuggler
• Requires new Chapter 6 Slicing Tools
• Requires Armor Slicing Bits or Weapon Slicing Bits

Obtaining Slicing Components

Armor Slicing Bits and Weapon Slicing Bits can be obtained through Hard Mode Heroic Instances.
